It is with great excitement that we write to share about the growth of our health club group. Roar Fitness 247 invites you to read more about what this means for your current health club and membership. Roar Fitness 247 is very excited to extend our family-owned brand, operating since 2014, to now include the Next Generation Health Club in Bibra Lake. As of December 5th 2018, Roar Fitness 247 will be taking over ownership of the Bibra Lake Next Gen site.

We truly believe we embody our purpose of Building Better People. Our focus in the weeks and months to come is maintaining our purpose and will make small changes to the internal and external branding of the club to re-brand as Roar whilst maintaining the Bibra Lake team, club culture and the wonderful services offered. Business will operate as usual and our aim is to have as minimal disruption as possible to all our current and new members coming through.

In the coming short months, we plan on extending the club’s opening hours to 24-hour access, improving some of the under-utilized spaces, adding some exciting new options to the restaurant and re-vamping a few things to enhance the already amazing life of the place. Below are some of the common questions the team have been asked that we’d like to provide some clarity on for peace of mind:

Our goal is to make what is already an amazing health club, that much better for the members and the community.

We look forward to serving you,

The Roar Fitness 247 Team

Nothing will change in the first instance. Over time there will be additional facilities added that we currently offer at our other sites. Roar Pole Fitness, Roar Defence Academy, RFX CrossFit, CrossFit Kids and Teens and our very popular Mums and Bubs classes are a few of the exciting things to come. The much-loved facilities such as the pools, Fit for Life, the creche and the kids programs are all staying and will most likely be expanded to offer more times and options like evening creche times etc.

Short Term: Term 1 – 2019 tennis will be going ahead as normal, we are working alongside Mike to possibly run Term 2 – we will confirm on this as time goes on and ensure to keep all members updated. Long term, tennis will not operate out of Bibra Lake. Roar and MG tennis academy are working on options to move the tennis club to another venue.

We will be keeping the kids program currently running and will look at a purpose-built room for this. We are excited to eventually offer kids martial arts, Kids CrossFit, Kids Teens, Mums and Bubs and more kids fitness classes too.

Yes. There will be no immediate changes to pricing.

Not immediately but eventually yes – the process for this will take some time and we will endeavour to keep everyone updated on this. Access to pools and other club areas will be restricted when this change occurs to only during staffed hours however selected areas of the club will be open 24 hours. Once we have the 24-hour access operational Bibra Lake members will also have access to all other Roar sites. We hope for this to be completed by February 2019.

No- Roar is focused on ensuring all improvements and additions will take place in a way to keep the club operational, some areas will be fenced off during renovations but most of the club will be operational, we will do our best to minimize disruption in any way possible.

The only change initially with Gold status will be access to Kings Park. This will cease on 5th December.

No, any reciprocal rights with other Next Gen clubs will cease from 5th December.

No changes will be made to the group fitness timetable initially. Over the coming months additional programs will be considered based on feedback and demand. Roar often surveys our members to work out what is in demand and adjusts the timetables to suit and accommodate as many people as necessary.

Roar is excited to retain the Bibra Lake team so don’t fret- the same friendly faces will still be around.

Cashless credit currently loaded to member accounts will be carried across and can be used in the café still after December 5th. There may possibly be a 1 or 2 business day delay on this system while we transfer members credits from Next Gen software over to Roar software but rest assured it won’t be lost. Next Gen are working close with Roar to ensure everything is handled accordingly.

Yes! All Bibra Lake members will have Platinum Level access meaning you can visit any of our other 3 locations. However, we will confirm once reciprocal access for members is available to other clubs as access control systems must be implemented first.
