I have a huge passion in fitness and I’m always striving to help others achieve their goals, whether it is about getting stronger, hitting a certain weight goal, going down a size or even something just as simple as fitting in some physical activity in your day, I’m here to help you smash those goals!
I was only 15 years old when the whole fitness phase intrigued me; being very skinny and not happy with my body, I decided to make a change and start working out. Fast-forward a few years down the track; I decided to pursue an Exercise and Sports Science degree, as I already enjoyed weightlifting as a hobby and I wanted to apply everything I learnt to improve my training.
With this knowledge, I found myself giving out a lot of advice to friends and family about training and general fitness. This swayed me towards the coaching side of the fitness industry as I found it very enjoyable and pleasing knowing that I could potentially change someone’s life; it was something I could see myself doing for a life-time. I decided take the opportunity to invest in Personal Training certifications while finishing off my studies in sports science.
Strength training is one of my focus points because I believe it’s a major component of progressing in the gym and also one of the fastest results you will notice! I’m a huge fan of the big 3 powerlifting movements:, Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift, as these are not only great exercises and will benefit you greatly; they are also the fundamental movement patterns of everyday life.
