Hi, I am Rachael, from Redefined Health And Fitness, I started my weight loss journey in December of 2017, I walked into Roar with no confidence and hated the way I looked. I weighed 110kgs, felt like I had hit rock bottom suffering depression, drinking and binge drinking!! I was a stay at home mum struggling with mental health. And I was suffering! Being that I am a mother of 5, wife to a caring husband and a care giver to my loved ones. I decided to take the plunge and put my health first so that I could be healthier and happier mum that gives her 5 children a role model that they one day can look up to. With a huge mindset shift, I got myself a personal trainer! I was provided with the CORRECT guidance, support and education which allowed me to reach my goal of losing 35kg. NOW! I am happier, happier, my kids are happier now that I can keep up with them at the park! Even better, my mental health is amazing, and I have new found confidence which allows me to deal with stress through a structured training regime. AKA LIFTING WEIGHTS! During this time, I fell in love with the whole process of IMPROVING GENERAL health and fitness, of which has now changed my life. My BIGGEST LESSON has been that women should not be afraid to be strong! As the feeling of lifting heavy weight to transform your body, is beyond empowering. My GOAL is to deliver an innovative fitness & lifestyle program to enhance the quality of your life and of those whom look up to you! I know how daunting it can be to set foot in a gym and to take that first plunge! But believe me it is one decision you will not regret!
